Hongjoong is a leader, rapper, and composer of the South Korean k-pop boy band named ATEEZ. Kim Hong Joong was born in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and always enjoyed listening to music and composing. He has been working since he was in high school, and he barely went to school because he always was in the studio, he also attended SIMS Academy.
