Ella Marija Lani Yelich O'Connor is also known by her stage name Lorde, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. She was born in the 1996 in Takapuna, New Zealand. She took inspiration for her stage name from aristocracy. Lorde's music is primarily in the electro pop genre, and contains elements of dream pop and indie-electro.
