Selective Yellow

Selective yellow, the shade of yellow you see in our color cursor pack, is used for automotive lamps, particularly headlamps and other road-illumination lamps, such as fog lamps. Headlamps were formerly permitted to be either white or selective yellow. This particular kind of yellow light was required from all road illumination lamps on vehicles in France for many years. It was mandatory for all vehicles' road-illumination lamps until 1993.
