Stag Beetle

Meet this stag beetle and it is considered one of the largest beetles in the whole world! The stag beetle has a big body, three pairs of legs, antennae, and red-brown horns. These insects feed on plant sap and prefer deciduous trees, especially oaks. It is interesting that the stag beetle flies almost vertically because its horns greatly outweigh the body.
