Taiyaki

Taiyaki is a very popular Japanese street food and dessert, especially at festivals. It is a delicious snack filled with sweet azuki red beans, something between a waffle and a cake. It is said that some advanced in marketing shops started shaping imagawayaki in the shape of a tai - a type of fish known as Japanese sea bream.
