White Dandelions on Yellow Background

Dandelions are a common wildflower with a natural cycle connected to the changing seasons. As the weather warms up, the dandelion plants will start to produce long stems with a bright yellow flower head consisting of hundreds of tiny individual flowers. These flowers are pollinated by bees and other insects, eventually producing seeds. Each seed has a fluffy pappus, a white structure that helps to be carried by the wind.
