The kawaii creature in our fanart Sanrio cursor is Hanamaruobake, also called Marumaru, the winner of NEXT KAWAII PROJECT, a contest held from June 2022 - February 2023. He's a white ghost with fluffy ears, swirly cheeks, and a hanamaru on his buttocks. The cutie is often seen with a cherry on his head, holding his enormous red pencil. Hanamaruobake is described as a shy, mysterious ghost who appears without warning to give you a hanamaru for their daily efforts.
